Company Overview

Every company in the public companies folder displays its business card information on a Company Overview screen. The screen includes the company name, AKA name, and a link to the company's web site.

The Company Overview screen can be used to evaluate the relationships and activities with contacts at a company. Because the Overview screen includes the Company Details, Activities, and Relationships panels, you can assess that data in order to decide whether to create a new Pursuit or Opportunity with that company. When there are existing Opportunities or Pursuits already associated with the company, they are shown in panels for Associated Opportunities and Associated Pursuits.

The Company Overview screen includes the following sections and information:

  • Relationships panel - displays data on the relationships between the target company and its personnel and your firm.
  • Company Details panel - displays data on the company and its operations. This data is selected by the Business Edge administrator and available only to Full Users.
  • Activities panel - displays data on the tracked activities between the target company and your firm.
  • Associated Pursuits panel - displays any pursuits associated with (targeting) this company.
  • Associated Opportunities panel - displays any opportunities directly linked to this company.

  • Notes - displays any notes associated with this company.

    IMPORTANT Notes are limited to 4000 characters.
